Examples of the harmful effects of pharmaceutical antivirals

Pharmaceuticals are never reliable. These pharmaceutical treatments for hepatitis or V.I.H AIDS should be discredited. This should be considered counterproductive for all different cases of hepatitis and viral infections. Patients with hepatitis C are treated with Rebetron or Ribavirin as treatment, most often Rebetron is chosen. The major effect of Rebetron is hemolytic anemia which is a deficiency of red blood cells. Allergic reactions

The three anti-HIV drugs most likely to cause an allergy are abacavir (Ziagen®, also found in the combination pills of kivexa® and Trivizir®), nevirapine (Viramune®) and etravirine (intelence® ). Abacavir hypersensitivity: It is believed that 8% of people who start treatment with abacavir will have an allergic reaction to the drug (this is often referred to as a hypersensitivity reaction to abacavir). If the results are positive, you should not take abacavir or pills containing aba

The hepatic toxicity of nevirapine

A very small number of people starting nevirapine treatment develop liver problems. This reaction also appears to be linked to a particular gene. To reduce the risk of allergic reactions to nevirapine, men with a CD4 cell count greater than 400 or women with a CD4 cell count greater than 250 should not start treatment with nevirapine. It is possible, but rare, that other medicines, including anti-HIV medicines, can also cause allergic reactions. You should therefore tell your doctor as soon as possible if a rash appears or if you feel woozy shortly after starting treatment with a new medicine.

Hypersensitivity to etravirine (Itelence®): A small number of people taking etravirine (Intelence®), have developed a severe rash three to six weeks after starting this medicine. In the most severe cases, patients have had a severe allergic skin reaction, characterized by peeling skin and blistering under the skin. It is a serious allergic reaction which can be fatal. In case of hypersensitivity, this severe rash will likely be accompanied by other symptoms, such as; fever, severe fatigue, conjunctivitis, swelling of the face, muscle or joint pain or symptoms indicating liver problems. Some side effects appear soon after starting treatment with a new medicine because the body adjusts to treatment with the new medicine. Often, these types of side effects lessen or become manageable or even go away completely after several days, weeks, or months. These are called long term side effects.

Sometimes the drugs have side effects that were not identified in studies during their development. These side effects do not become clear until the drug is taken by many people for a long time. Any anti-HIV drug can have side effects on anyone, and the type and severity of side effects can vary from person to person.

There are a multitude of similar pharmaceutical antivirals for viral diseases, it remains to be seen whether every patient with hepatitis or HIV AIDS desires to experience such side effects throughout their life.
